BESPOKE COMMERCIAL VEHICLE BODIES

GENTILI design and manufacture vehicle bodies made of lightweight anodized aluminium alloy. Aluminium triple drop-side body has a floor made of phenolic resin coated plywood 18 mm thick for long life performance.

Light alloy reduces the body work weight by approximately 30% when compared with similar systems made of steel.

One of the most interesting and innovative features is the assembly method of the frame base: longitudinal members and cross members are not welded but jointed together with special stainless steel clamps. This method assures optimum rigidity and resistance against dynamic stress.

Cranes, when installed, are fixed onto the frame base behind the cab and the body is moved backwards.

MOBILE WORKSHOP FOR MULTI-UTILITIES

The GENTILI Mobile workshop is a purpose built body manufactured in lightweight aluminium alloy. This body is primarily designed for external tools and facilities access via vertical lifting door panels. Gas springs maintain support of these panels at all times. This system allows the operator to stop and keep the panels in a specific position without the risk of them falling downwards. The body internal space can be equipped with racking, foldable workbenches, vices, tools, anchoring systems etc. At the rear of the body, special lockers can be installed to ease the loading and unloading of heavy gas bottles via a unique, manual assisted lifting system. The longitudinal central tunnel is designed to contain pipes of 6 m max. length. Underneath the frame base it is possible to install a box to contain spades, hoes and other digging tools.

An example of this efficiency is the tilting shelves that facilitate picking up of cumbersome objects. This type of storage solution can also be used with particular success by electricians, plumbers etc. thanks to the optimum quality/price ratio.
