PROTECTING YOUR VEHICLE, WHILE
IMPROVING ITS APPEARANCE
The protection of the internal walls of the vehicle is of primary importance.
Indentations, scratches, deposit of chemical substances or varnishes are
factors that contribute to the depreciation of the vehicle; thus it
mean slower retained residual values. For rental companies, the vehicles
presentation is also important to customer perceptions and repeat business.
The GENTILI side linings are of two types:
- Thermoformed side lining (HDPE), 3 mm thickness, non-toxic, washable,
good chemical resistance, non slip surface, light gray colour, tailored
shaped and canbe fixed without making holes in the van interior
structure
- Aluminium tread plate (aluminium sheet 2 mm thick - treads 2 mm
thick)
Between the two offered solutions, the thermoformed solution (HDPE)
is however the one of greater interest because of its advantages against
aluminium: it is lighter, less expensive, not subject to indentation,
does not chip like the normal plastic, good resistance to heat and
combustion, does not change with time and, finally, does not conduct
heat or electricity.
GENTILI supplies the whole kit (wall, door, hatch) or different single
tailored cut sections like hatch only - sliding door only etc. Bulkheads
can be protected with phenolic wood, aluminium tread plate or HDPE.
