THE PERFECT STORE FOR TOOLS AND HEAVY MATERIALS
Wheel boxes are a common problem when trying to optimize the van
loading area. This obstacle can be easily overcome using a frame
box (welded structure), supplied with or without hatch, that surmounts
the wheel box. These framed boxes, beyond constituting the first
useful space for the storage of tools and heavy materials, are an
effective support for shelves and cabinets, the reason why we call
them “base units”.
Where the wheel boxes are extended to the rear doors, special
notched base units are available.
The GENTILI base units are sufficiently high to be mounted on the
majority of wheel boxes. Extra height, when necessary, is achieved
with the use of spacers.
The front hatch of the GENTILI base unit is not opened by pulling
it down to the floor, thus creating an obstacle to the passage of
the operator, but it is opened upward, parallel to the front of
the base unit. The opening system is assisted by a gas spring that
will keep the hatch up in position.
The racking system will only be solid if the base
units are solid; GENTILI base units are made of one body, entirely
welded, without joints or bolted parts.
